This is pretty simple: when Paul Goldschmidt is at home against a left-hander, you need to roster him. For the season, the Arizona Diamondbacks' first baseman owns a .521 wOBA when hitting against a southpaw at Chase Field. Overall, he's sporting a .433 wOBA versus lefties with a 42.5% hard-hit rate.

Tonight, Goldschmidt will tangle with Jorge De La Rosa. The Colorado Rockies' left-hander has a 13.6% strikeout rate and 9.4% walk rate in the second half. Those are numbers we want to target. Chase Field is no Coors, but it ranks fifth in park factor.

Arizona's 5.2 implied total is the second-highest of the night, and Goldschmidt is priced rather economically for a stud hitter in a great spot.
