Jurickson Profar, OF, Texas Rangers

While Jurickson Profar ended up getting the day off to rest yesterday, a lot of things I wrote about him in the matchup with Dan Straily hold true today, as the Cincinnati Reds will be starting Tim Adleman, a matchup that has the Texas Rangers with the highest implied total on tonight's main slate.

From yesterday's article:

A switch-hitter, Profar by far does his best work against right-handed pitchers. He is slashing .285/.347/.437 with a .339 wOBA against righties on the season. This is a great matchup, and hitting leadoff will allow Profar as many opportunities as he can handle to produce here.

Adleman is a righty with a shaky 5.06 SIERA through his first five major league starts, and he owns an ugly .837 OPS against left-handed hitters between his minor league and major league action this season, making this a terrific matchup for Profar.
