Newcastle vs. Wolves

Wolves to win +260

Newcastle have been a much-improved team since the start of the new year, and they have lifted themselves out of the relegation zone. However, the Magpies have lost each of their last three matches by a combined score of 7-1, and their overall record of 7W-10D-13L is still poor.

Newcastle are facing Wolves, who are currently in eighth place at 15-4-12. Wolves have won three of their last four matches and are a good team away from home, with an 8-2-5 record in the split this season.

Newcastle are not as poor as their overall record indicates, but Wolves are still the better side. Wolves should expect to win this match.

Aston Villa vs. Tottenham

Tottenham to win +125

Tottenham are on quite a good run recently, going 6-0-2 in their last eight matches. This stretch has included an impressive 3-2 win away to Manchester City, and Spurs are +16 in goal difference during this span.

Tottenham face an Aston Villa team that has lost three straight games, so Spurs are in much better form than Villa are. Tottenham are 18 points ahead of Villa in the table, so they have proven themselves as the much superior team during the long haul of the season.

Tottenham also defeated Villa 2-1 at home earlier this season, and they will be looking for a repeat performance on the road this weekend. Spurs should have the ability to pull it off.

Leicester vs. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace to win +210

Crystal Palace are tied with Leicester on points this season, but the Foxes have two games in hand -- so Leicester are in a better position in the league at the moment.

However, per FBRef, Palace are ahead of Leicester by a significant margin in expected goal difference (xGD) -- Palace is at +1.5, compared to -9.0 for Leicester. This indicates Leicester may be overachieving this year, as the next four teams below them in the table have an xGD at least 5.0 goals higher.

Palace are also in very good form, going 3-2-0 in their last five, including a draw against Manchester City and a win over Arsenal. Palace are +8 in goal difference during this stretch, and they just dismantled the Gunners 3-0.

Palace have more than enough talent to win at Leicester, and with the odds longer than 2-1, this bet is enticing.
