Marchand averages 4.8 clearances per match. He adds nearly five other defensive actions while completing over 81% of his passes per match. He also wins a couple aerial duels every match, although that may not be as necessary against Wolverhampton, a team that is 14th in the league in crosses.

Wolverhampton held 70% of the possession the first time these teams played this season. Marchand was not a part of that match, but history shows he will be busy. Wolves had nearly 300 more touches and Fulham completed 28 clearances. Alfie Mawson ($4,000), who played center back in the December match, had six clearances and two interceptions. All signs point to an active 18-yard box that Marchand must command.
