Paul Pogba, Midfielder, Manchester United

Salary: $9,500

Pogba is tied with James Maddison as the top-priced midfielder on the slate, and he has averaged 25.45 FanDuel points this season -- the highest average, by a large margin, among all midfielders. Pogba has scored at least 18.0 FanDuel points in two of his last six Premier League starts. However, he has scored fewer than 11.0 FanDuel points in two straight matches.

The Red Devils are a large home favorite over the Watford, and the match has a 60.9% chance of totaling over 2.5 goals, according to oddsmakers. Given the spot and his penalty duties, Pogba is likely to be a highly-owned player.

He was red-hot from Matchweek 18 through Matchweek 26, recording eight goals and five assists as he averaged 38.64 FanDuel points in his nine starts over that span, but he has not scored more than 24.0 FanDuel points in his four matches since -- reaching 20.0 FanDuel points just once.

Being such a large favorite and with United having 93.5% chance of finding the back of the net -- per oddsmakers -- it is extremely likely that United will produce on the score sheet. But the Hornets have allowed the fifth-fewest shots (14.63) and fourth-fewest chances created (10.06) per road match on this slate, and Pogba, if he doesn’t score, may struggle to produce value as the top-priced midfielder.
