Almiron has made a smooth transition from Atlanta United to Newcastle. High praise has come from many Newcastle fans, which can be found with a quick search of Twitter. In two seasons in MLS he had 22 goals and 19 assists while averaging over three shots per match. He has yet to find the back of the net in three games in the Premier League, but he is energizing the Newcastle attack.

He does average over two shots per game in the Premier League. This past week he had three shots and two key passes while completing 88% of all passes. The record signing was subbed off 10 minutes before the end of regulation and Newcastle fans gave him a standing ovation for his performance. He did not score a goal or have an assist, but the fans recognized his work ethic.

Manager Rafa Benitez can improve Almiron tactically, but someone with his engine is generally rewarded.
