Andrew Robertson, Defender, Liverpool

Salary: $7,000

Robertson is the top-priced defender on the slate, but he has averaged just 15.54 FanDuel points this season -- the 17th-highest average among all defenders. Robertson has scored more than 15.0 FanDuel points in just three of his last nine matches, averaging 14.34 FanDuel points over that span, and he has reached that 15-point mark in just five matches in which he didn't contribute on the Reds' score sheet.

Liverpool are a large favorite over the Hornets, and the match has a 59.5% chance of totaling more than 2.5 goals. Watford have a 55% chance of finding the back of the net, per oddsmakers, a feat they have accomplished in six of their last seven road matches. The Hornets do relinquish a large number of defensive actions -- in the top-half of the table in all but blocked shots allowed -- but Robertson’s value does not come from defensive actions, and Watford have allowed the seventh-fewest chances created (239) to all positions this season.

If the Hornets are able to find the back of the net, Robertson may have a hard time reaching value sans the clean-sheet bonus if he does not provide an assist. and there are cheaper defenders who should be just as involved in their squad's attack -- like teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold ($5,500) -- or offer a better floor due to defensive actions.
