Interesting Scoring History

Now that the favorites on this slate are clear, let's look at which grounds will have the goals. There is a very clear line in scoring history with these fixtures - three of them have scoring and three do not.

There have been at least three goals in the West Ham and Crystal Palace competition in three of the last four matches. The December match ended 3-2 in favor of West Ham. The same can be said over the last five matches of the Liverpool fixture with Bournemouth. There have been at least four goals scored in three of the last five matches between Watford and Everton.

On the other end of the spectrum goals have been hard to come by. Huddersfield have fallen to Arsenal by a score of 1-0 that last two matches just like Southampton to Cardiff. Brighton and Burnley have played two goalless draws in their three league matches.

The history of these matches is a good indication of where to target attackers and where to look for points from the defense and keepers.
