Jose Holebas, Defender, Watford

Salary: $6,000

Holebas is tied with nine other players as the fifth-highest priced defender on the slate, and he has averaged 20.80 FanDuel points through four matches -- the fourth-highest average among the defenders priced $5,500 and above. After scoring more than 25 FanDuel points in three of his first four matches of the season, Duffy has not scored more than 18 FanDuel points across the last four matches.

Both clubs are in the bottom half of the Premier League table in overall possession, and the Hornets have a 57.9% implied win probability over Huddersfield. The match has a 47.6% chance of scoring over 2.5 goals, according to Paddy Power, while the Magpies have a 61.9% chance of scoring at least one goal.

Looking specifically at defenders, the Terriers have allowed the most clearances (5.43), 10th-most blocked shots (0.51), 7th-fewest interceptions (1.26) and 5th-fewest tackles (1.5) per 90 minutes. Holebas, however, is generally rostered for his ability in the attack as he has totaled more than three statistics in any of the defensive actions just four times.

While his involvement in the attack provides the opportunity for huge upside, Holebas has created three or more chances only twice, with just one of those instances coming since Matchweek 1, and he's produced just one shot on target this season. Holebas’ number of crosses look great, but for DFS players on FanDuel, those numbers are useless unless they lead to chances created and/or assists.
