Christian Eriksen, Midfielder, Tottenham

Salary: $9,000

Eriksen is tied with two other players as the fourth-highest priced midfielder on the slate, and he has averaged 17.08 FanDuel points through six matches. Eriksen has the second-lowest average among the six midfielders priced $9,000 or above, as his highest FanDuel performance is 23.9 points. Eriksen did miss Tuesday’s international friendly against Austria as he has been dealing with abdominal issues and will likely be a game-time decision against the Hammers.

The Spurs have a 54.5% win probability, according to Paddy Power, and the match has a 62.5% chance of scoring over 2.5 goals, while Eriksen’s anytime goal-scoring odds are 26.7%.

Despite scoring one goal in his only Champions League fixture against Inter Milan, Eriksen has yet to find the back of the net in the Premier League this season, totaling 6 shots on target and 18 shots overall. The Hammers have allowed the seventh-most shots (113), sixth-most crosses (165) and fourth-most chances created (88) this season.

Eriksen has played a full 90 minutes in all six matches this season, and if he plays, he does offer an excellent floor for cash games. But so far this season, he has shown limited upside, which does not bode well for large-field tournaments, and that limitation will likely continue if he is unable to find the back of the net.
