4 FanDuel Premier League Players to Avoid in Matchweek 4

Kante’s FanDuel output has decreased every week since Matchweek 1, when he scored 26.5 FanDuel points and scored his only goal of the season. Kante’s role has changed under Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 system, and after a poor performance by the Blues in their previous match, Kante should be involved in the attack against the Cherries as Chelsea returns to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues enter Saturday’s match with an implied win probability of 80% -- the second largest favorite on the slate -- and have a 52.4% chance of scoring three or more goals. Being such a large favorite, Kante may not see the normal defensive actions that increase his floor, and DFS players will have to rely on attacking statistics from the Frenchman, which may limit his ceiling if he does not find the back of the net.

With Manchester City and Chelsea having high implied team totals, and Everton favored to score two or more goals, there are likely to be a large number of goals on the slate, which means, DFS players -- especially to win a large-field tournament -- will need to find (and roster) multiple goal scorers. Kante, although capable of scoring a goal, does not offer a high ceiling in a match that is unlikely to offer a large number of defensive statistics as the other Chelsea attackers seem to be better options.
