Forwards are Not the Top FanDuel Scorers

Jamie Vardy ($10,500) scored a consolation goal for Leicester last weekend, but he came off the bench. One could say it was a lucky goal that did not require much work. Leicester threatened, but Kelechi Iheanacho ($8,000) was unable to capitalize on his chances. Vardy should play a bigger role this week.

Harry Kane ($12,000), who finished with just 8.6 points last week, still has not scored in August after Dele Alli ($9,500) and Jan Vertonghen ($6,000) scored for Tottenham last week.

Callum Wilson ($7,500) and Raul Jimenez ($7,500) lead the strikers on this slate in FanDuel points after week one, and Wilson scored his goal in stoppage time. They are the only two forwards to tally more than 30 points last week. In comparison, there are four midfielders with more than 30 FanDuel points to their name after week one. There are also more defenders that scored 25 or more points last week than forwards.
