Drop Ben for Cutler?
I have Cam Newton starting vs my Eagles this week, and he has a pretty favorable schedule for the remainder of the season (PHI, KC, ATL, SD, OAK), besides week 14. Since Cutler seems to be progressing better than Ben, do I drop Rapistberger for Caybaby Jay? He plays vs Minnesota in week 14, his numbers are great vs the Vikings, and Minnesota is horrible vs the pass this year. I would normally roll with just Cam, but this league has a no transaction rule for the playoffs, and the playoffs are from week 14 to 16.

1Kacee Giger (624 Reputation Points)If you actually plan on playing one this week (which I wouldn't recommend and I didn't think you would, but you were mentioning the good matchup against the Vikings ), then of course you have to go with Cutler as Big Ben is out for sure. However, if you just want to keep one on the bench for insurance then I think I would stick with Roethlisberger as I like him better for most weeks than Cutler. In my opinion though, if options like Cutler are sitting on waivers in your league, I would just go with Cam and drop your backup QB for help somewhere else and then pick one up if anything ever happens to Newton.3 Comments↳Wayne Robinson (500 Reputation Points)Thanks for the reply Kacee. Cutler's playoff schedule is decent (Vikings, Packers, Cardinals), but I think I like Roethlisberger's even better (Chargers, Cowboys, Bengals). However, I guess we don't really know how long Big Ben will be out, so if Cutler plays this week without another injury, then I would say he's the safer bet and go with him.↳Wayne Robinson (500 Reputation Points)That's kind of where I have been. Either one should be a good backup to Cam for the playoffs, but who will be available to play 1st. I guess I just have to keep my ears open for news about both of them
