Fantasy football trades
this really isnt a question more of a statement. i hate when, even though you trade good players for another player, and you send the people messages, they never respond back, nor do they trade you anyone.

0George Possley (531 Reputation Points)My league is getting a little better with trades. Last year, I think we may have had one in a 12-team league. This year, we've had 3-4 in the 10 team league. I hate that so many of my people pay no attention to the league home page. I live on my laptop. I also have a smartphone (Android) but only use it to check my team when I'm away from home. I want a league where there is a little good natured trash talking. There's none in mine. Hardly any discussion. It could be so much more but some people don't participate in waivers and only set their team once a week. I have been known to edit their rosters when they fail to note that somebody has been listed as "out" since Wednesday and it's sunday morning and they have done nothing. Being a commish has its benefits but finding the right owners, now that's the trick.

0Ryan Lim (500 Reputation Points)I've made 8 trades this season already- it's one of my favorite parts of fantasy football. I generally make trade offers in bunches- I offer the maximum number of teams allowable the player I want to get rid of and ask for something reasonable back. If it's early in the week and affected by the TNF game, I usually put in a note that says the trade offer is good until 8pm Thursday before cancellation. Otherwise, as long as the trade is fair for both sides, I usually get an answer pretty quickly because of the shear number of offers. November 16 will be a sad day for me (trade deadline)- or an exciting one!3 Comments↳George Possley (531 Reputation Points)Sounds like you get a lot of enjoyment out of being a wheeler-dealer. I prefer to play it closer to the vest. I trade when I've got excess value and I need help at some position. But there comes a time when I'm as set as I'm going to be.
