3 NHL FanDuel Values to Target on Thursday 12/30/21

Spending lower in any daily fantasy lineup is a way to incorporate some diversity into your roster. In NHL DFS, there is typically more value in this strategy but also a good deal of risk, too. The right low-salary plays can give you good production while affording you more chances to roster high-salary studs.

Thursday night has seven games on the schedule. Let's find some value!

Alex Turcotte, Center, Los Angeles Kings

FanDuel Salary: $3,400

The Los Angeles Kings' forward had a solid debut on Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights, totaling three shots and a blocked shot in just over 12 minutes of ice time.

Alex Turcotte will face a slightly easier opponent in the Vancouver Canucks, who just played against the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday. They could be a bit tired and should be a good matchup for a young forward who excels with his hands and his speed.

Turcotte's minutes could inch up a little on Thursday night as Los Angeles may try to implement him a bit on the man advantage. Vancouver still has a slightly suspect penalty kill. Turcotte is easy to like at this salary.

Mason Marchment, Wing, Florida Panthers

FanDuel Salary: $3,900

Mason Marchment looked solid in his return to the Florida Panthers lineup on Wednesday night. He played just over 12 minutes against the New York Rangers, recording an assist and having a couple of good scoring chances.

That is a perfect tune-up to play the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday. It may be a matchup that Marchment can take advantage of given Tampa Bay's lack of depth due to COVID.

He can play a very good middle-six role for Florida while averaging about 13 minutes a night. Marchment can also play on the second-unit power play on occasion, which increases his DFS value a bit.

Dante Fabbro, Defenseman, Nashville Predators

FanDuel Salary: $3,800

The Nashville Predators' defenseman just needed a boost.

Dante Fabbro dished out two assists on Wednesday night against the Washington Capitals. Fabbro stepped into some of Roman Josi's role and played a touch more then 17 minutes. This could pave the way for some more ice time as the defenseman has shown flashes of offensive potential.

The issue for Fabbro has always been consistency. Columbus should be a good matchup given that the Blue Jackets are just 2-7-1 in their last 10 games while giving up 42 goals in that span.
