3 NHL FanDuel Values to Target on 11/4/19

Filip Chytil has been fantastic since being recalled from the AHL and remains cheap on FanDuel.

If you follow the NHL, you already know all of the top players. Obviously, when playing DFS, these players will come at a high cost. In this article, we are looking to find the cheaper value plays to help you afford the superstars.

Filip Chytil, Center, New York Rangers

FanDuel Price: $3,600

Filip Chytil has only played in two games at the NHL level this season due to being sent down before the season started, but his recent call-up has been solid. In those two games, he has two goals and seven shots while chipping in with three blocked shots as well. Obviously the blocks pace will never keep up, but seeing his shot volume increase a little bit is great to see.

He's playing with Chris Kreider and Pavel Buchnevich at even strength, which is a very solid line. In addition, he's been playing on the New York Rangers' second power-play unit with linemate Buchnevich

Anthony Duclair, Winger, Ottawa Senators

FanDuel Price: $3,800

Anthony Duclair seems to have settled into his role with the Ottawa Senators. He has five goals in 12 games and now plays on not only the top line at even strength but has positioned himself firmly onto the Senators top power-play unit. Tonight is an interesting matchup because he'll face a New York Rangers team that is dead last in the NHL, allowing a 67.25 CA/60 at even strength.

Our projections peg Duclair as a great value play as he has the second-highest points-per-dollar projection among all skaters this evening.

Mattias Ekholm, Defense, Nashville Predators

FanDuel Price: $4,400

With three goals and eight points in 14 games, Mattias Ekholm is off to a fantastic start to the season. He is also averaging 2.35 shots and 1.21 blocks per game, which add to his potential upside on any given night. He is playing 22:35 minutes of ice-time each game, which is a slight downgrade from last season, but that should pick up as the season goes on.

A matchup against the Detroit Red Wings is solid. They are allowing the 11th-most CA/60 with a 55.87 rate, while the Nashville Predators are producing a 59.28 CF/60 that's the fifth-best in the NHL.
