NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Thursday 10/4/18

Jack Eichel should benefit from new linemates, and he offers a big ceiling tonight. Which other players should you look into for NHL DFS?

A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?

It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.

To help, let's take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.

Goalie to Target

Carter Hutton ($7,500): The Buffalo Sabres are close to even money (+110 moneyline) against the Boston Bruins. Hutton was an amazing 17-7-3 in 32 starts a year ago, while stopping over 93% of shots and possessing a .731 quality start percentage. He's facing a Boston team that was soundly beaten on Wednesday night by the Washington Capitals. The expectation is that Boston will come out firing from all angles, which should aid in shot count. There are plenty of other value options -- like Petr Mrazek and even Henrik Lundqvist (higher risk) -- but there will be more clarity on the slate's goalies once starters are confirmed. As of Thursday morning, Hutton has not yet been the confirmed starter, so make sure you double-check that he's the starter before you lock him into your lineup.
