NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Tuesday 2/14/17

Jamie Benn has been hot, and the Dallas Stars have a nice matchup against the Winnipeg Jets. Which other players are worth checking out for NHL DFS?

A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?

It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel.com because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.

To help, take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.

Goalies to Target

Matt Murray ($9,200): The Pittsburgh Penguins are huge favorites tonight, installed at -280 on the moneyline to beat the Vancouver Canucks, who rank 27th in the league with an average of 2.34 goals per game. Now only is Murray the most likely goalie to come away with a win tonight, our projections also give him the best chance of recording a shutout, beating any other goalie's likelihood by at least 6%. That gives him a high ceiling, and his floor is boosted from the high amount of saves he has been racking up recently. The Penguins this season are tied for the fifth-most shots allowed per game, and Murray has made at least 25 saves in each of his past seven games. That makes him very safe, which leads to Murray being the top cash-game option tonight.
