Montreal Canadiens

Players to target: Tomas Plekanec, Brendan Gallagher, and Alex Galchenyuk

If you check the line combinations for the Montreal Canadiens, you will see Galchenyuk as a fourth-line winger alongside Steve Ott. This is slightly concerning, but this is also playoff hockey. The Canadiens need Galchenyuk's offense, so it is likely that he'll move up to the second and third lines during Game 1 against the New York Rangers.

Plekanec and Gallagher will skate with Paul Byron at even-strength, which has been a great possession line -- 65.4 Corsi For per 60 minutes and 58.5 Corsi For percentage.

They should see a lot of Mika Zibanejad and the Rangers' second line, which is a more-than-favorable matchup. Zibanejad's line is allowing 58.5 Corsi Against per 60 minutes and 12 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes.

Gallagher's individual Corsi For per 60 minutes is still over 22, so he needs to be on your radar in tournaments. Galchenyuk and Gallagher will see power-play minutes together against the Rangers' subpar penalty kill (79.8 percent) and possibly some even-strength time assuming Galchenyuk gets shuffled around during the game. Stack up these cheap guys with one of your favorite top lines for some contrarian appeal.
