New York Islanders

Players to target: Anders Lee, John Tavares, and Josh Bailey

The New York Islanders are in a similar spot to what the Montreal Canadiens were in two nights ago -- in a road matchup with the Vancouver Canucks. For Montreal, we recommended top line of Max Pacioretty, Phillip Danault, and Brendan Gallagher, who didn't put the puck in the net but accumulated 15 shots on goal. Poor luck is part of the game in NHL DFS, but tonight we should attack this same matchup.

Tavares' line should see a matchup with Bo Horvat and the Canucks' second line. With Loui Eriksson, they were allowing 74.2 Corsi Against per 60 minutes. With Eriksson out, Nikolay Goldobin (66.1 Individual Corsi Against per 60 minutes) will be the new right wing on Horvat's line.

Lee, Tavares, and Bailey should have their way with Vancouver as they are posting great possession numbers (69.4 Corsi For per 60 minutes and a 57.3 Corsi For percentage). It also doesn't hurt that these three will play all their minutes together as they all skate on the first power-play unit, and the Canucks are struggling on the kill (77.8 percent). Stack up the Islanders on the road for some high-shot volume and a lot of scoring chances.
