Pittsburgh Penguins

Players to Stack: Sidney Crosby, Conor Sheary, and Bryan Rust

If you follow hockey at all, you know that Crosby is having an incredible season. He leads the league in goals, power play goals, and points per game along with 16 assists. Last night, he added another goal and two assists en route to a 31.7-point effort on FanDuel.

Tonight, Crosby and his line mates will face the Carolina Hurricanes on the second half of a back-to-back. With Evgeni Malkin's line most likely to take on Jeff Skinner and Carolina's top line, the door will once again be wide open for Crosby to match up with the second and third lines for Carolina, with the second line struggling immensely (63 Corsi Against per 60).

Crosby, Sheary, and Rust are dominating the opposition by creating over 22 scoring chances per 60 minutes at almost a 60 Corsi For %. This projects Crosby to have the puck on his stick more times than not, which means more fantasy points for owners who choose to play him.

To add fuel to the fire, the Penguins' power play is a top-five unit in the league converting at a rate of 22.5%. You'll have to pay top dollar for Crosby tonight ($9,200 on FanDuel), but a three-player stack with Sheary ($5,200) and Rust ($3,500) will provide some much needed salary relief along with a ton of upside.
