Cam Newton officially questionable for Panthers in Week 3
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (ankle, shoulder) is officially questionable for Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.
That being said, Newton is fully expected to play against the Saints after putting in limited practice work over the week. It's a juicy fantasy matchup for the Panthers' offense, but Newton will be without star tight end Greg Olsen (foot).
Our models project Newton for 282.9 passing yards, with 2.0 touchdowns and 0.6 interceptions, to go with 5.1 carries for 29.0 yards on the ground. That's a net of 22.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $8,100.
