John Brown (quad) not rushing to get back on field for Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown confirmed on Tuesday that his quad injury is still an issue, but he's not going to rush a return to the field.
“I understand the situation that’s going on with the receivers and all that, but I’m just going to come back when I’m ready,†said Brown. This came in response to head coach Bruce Arians, who expressed some concern about Brown's progression on Monday. The 27-year-old wideout, now entering his fourth NFL season, is shaping up to be a high-ceiling, low-floor WR4 with injury concerns as fantasy drafts kick into full swing.
numberFire's models project Brown for 54.9 receptions, 784.5 yards and 4.04 touchdowns in 2017. He is our 48th-ranked fantasy wideout for the year.
