Terrelle Pryor

Terrelle Pryor (hamstring) sitting out 3rd preseason game

Wide receiver Terrelle Pryor (hamstring) is sitting out the Cleveland Browns' regular season tune-up on Saturday

What It Means:

Pryor, who wowed in training camp earlier this offseason, has been limited by a hamstring strain since the first week of August. He's resumed practicing, but it's clear his conditioning isn't in order yet. This is crucial missed time for the athletic-yet-raw quarterback convert.

The Browns continue to have issues filling their wideout spots, and while Pryor looked to be shining in the role, he is now in danger of losing his roster spot. The Browns would love an athletic marvel like him to shake up the stagnant group. We're more concerned about the lack of proficiency among them: only Andrew Hawkins (0.58 per-play Reception Net Expected Points in 2014) and Dwayne Bowe (0.72 per-play Reception NEP) saw more than 75 targets last season. This projects to be a mess.
