John Brown poised for comeback season in Arizona

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown looks "stronger" and "more explosive" following his injury-marred 2016, said teammate and quarterback Carson Palmer following the first day of OTAs on Tuesday.

What It Means:

Brown says he's now "feeling like myself" now that doctors have figured out how to manage the receiver's sickle-cell issues. A cyst was also removed from his spine this offseason that had been fatiguing him. Entering his age-27 campaign, Brown will look to return to his 2015 form when he surpassed 1,000 yards while hauling in seven touchdowns on 65 catches.

Brown was limited to 73 targets last season, marking the first time in his career that he failed to reach 100 targets. Among the 74 receivers with 70-plus targets in 2016, he finished 32nd in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
