Terrelle Pryor remains committed to Cleveland
Free agent wide receiver Terrelle Pryor has "instructed" his representation that he "wants to stay in Cleveland" with the Browns, a source told the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Pryor's representatives are expected to meet with Browns officials this week to open up contract negotiations. Along with Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson, Pryor is one of the top wide receivers available in free agency this offseason. His fondness for Cleveland may result in a minor hometown discount.
Pryor's 0.68 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target ranked 23rd among the 41 wide receivers to see at least 100 targets this year. That's a surprisingly good mark for a receiver who played in the league's seventh-worst passing attack by schedule-adjusted Offensive Passing NEP per play.
