Lions' Anquan Boldin undecided on retirement
Detroit Lions wide receiver Anquan Boldin is undecided on playing football in 2017.
Boldin stated after Detroit's playoff loss that he would like to play another year, but he may be having second thoughts at age 36. Per Lions.com's Tim Twentyman, Boldin is "open to returning" to Detroit if he indeed keeps playing. Boldin's playmaking ability evaporated long ago, but he can still help an offense on third downs and in the red zone. He caught eight touchdowns in 2016.
Boldin's 0.70 Reception Net Expected Points per target was 30th-best among the 68 receivers with at least 75 targets in 2016.
