Lions' Anquan Boldin should have diminished role
Detroit Lions wide receiver Anquan Boldin's numbers to take a "pretty big hit" with tight end Eric Ebron and running back Theo Riddick back healthy, ESPN reporter Michael Rothstein expects.
Ebron and Riddick returned last week and combined to see 21 targets, finishing first and second in both catches and yards. Boldin was still in on 49 of the team's 61 snaps, but saw just three looks, catching one ball for four yards.
Boldin currently ranks 22nd in Reception Net Expected Points per target among the 69 wide receivers with at least 35 targets through Week 8.
