Panthers' Cam Newton (ankle) has no concerns moving forward
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (ankle) "feels good" and is "ready to go," Pro Football Talk reports.
Newton appeared to tweak his ankle in the Week 3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, but it does not look like it will be a concern moving forward. Newton has taken a ton of hits through three weeks behind a shaky offensive line, however, but the inept Falcons' pass rush is next up on the schedule. That should give them a bit of a breather.
Newton earned -10.74 Net Expected Points on 35 passing attempts in Week 3, per numberFire Live.
