Stefon Diggs moves to 'Z', shining for Vikings in camp
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been "by far the most impressive offensive player" at Vikings camp, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
As the Z receiver, Diggs will be granted easier releases off the line of scrimmage, be put into motion and also frequent the slot more than he did when he was pigeonholed into the X receiver during his rookie campaign. "He's all over the place," exclaims wide receivers coach George Stewart. Diggs looks poised to be the team's leading receiver this season, especially considering the struggles of rookie wideout Laquon Treadwell.
We currently rank Diggs as our 33rd-receiver heading into the season, projecting him to catch 70 passes for 894 yards and 6.11 touchdowns in 2016.
