Bills make offer to free agent Reggie Bush
The Buffalo Bills have made an offer to free agent running back Reggie Bush, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora connected these same dots over the weekend following the four-game suspension to top backup Karlos Williams. Rapoport reports Bush is weighing his options and is in no rush to make a decision. Bush would compete with Mike Gillislee and rookie Jonathan Williams for a role behind starter LeSean McCoy.
The last year that Bush saw more than 100 opportunities was 2014, with the Detroit Lions. That year, his -0.05 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per carry ranked 33rd among the 56 running backs with at least that many opportunities. His Reception NEP per target also ranked 33rd among the same players.
