Which team is in the best situation at the quarterback position heading into 2016?

Training camp is here! Preseason starts in two weeks and the regular season is right around the corner. Football season is finally here!

So, with excitement abounding among the football community, it only seemed right to spend countless hours putting together a ranking of each team’s quarterback situation heading into the 2016 season.

At numberFire, we try to avoid subjective analysis, instead focusing our attention on things we can quantify, which can be tricky with the quarterback position, where so much attention is focused on intangibles like leadership or being “clutch.”

These rankings will focus heavily on the efficiency-based numbers of each quarterback, rather than their volume-based totals. Red zone efficiency will also be an important factor, as the most-important job of the quarterback is to take care of the ball.
