2016 NFL Power Rankings: Preseason Edition
18. Baltimore Ravens, -0.85 nERD
Last season, the Ravens finished with a nERD of -5.20, the second-worst mark in franchise history since 2000 (the worst was -5.62 in 2007). It was the fifth time the Ravens have performed below league average, too.
But that's what happens when your quarterback, primary receiver, and more go down to injury all in the same season.
The Ravens finished 30th in Adjusted NEP on offense and 15th on defense. Back in 2014, they were a top-eight offense and a top-five defense. They've got some work to do, but if Joe Flacco, Steve Smith, and Terrell Suggs return to their old ways, this team can wind up on the right side of .500.
