Jameis Winston played well last year for a rookie, ranking 15th among qualified passers in per-drop back Passing NEP and in Passing Success Rate, numbers you just don't generally see from a first-year passer.
Mike Evans is bound to score more touchdowns in 2016 (he had just three last year), and Tampa Bay running backs posted a Rushing Success Rate of 42.89%, which was third-best in the NFL in 2015.
They're stunted by a defense that was top-8 against the rush but 28th against the pass. First-rounder Vernon Hargreaves could help that secondary improve, as could second-round defensive end Noah Spence. If that's the case, they could fare better than being a league-average squad.
