Michael Floyd, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Larry Fitzgerald started the year like a madman, but it was Michael Floyd who was Arizona’s most productive receiver over the second half of the season.

Getting a late start because of dislocated fingers suffered in training camp, Floyd was in and out of the lineup early and didn’t have a multi-catch game until Week 5. He made up for lost time over the last eight weeks, emerging as a real force and seeing at least eight targets in six of the eight contests.

Floyd went over the 100-yard mark in five of the Cardinals’ last eight games. Over those last eight weeks, he totaled 36 catches for 636 yards and 3 scores. If you extrapolate that out to a full season, it puts Floyd at 72 grabs for 1,272 yards and 6 touchdowns -- a total of 235.2 fantasy points (PPR), which would have been good enough to finish as WR15.

Instead of those dreamy numbers, Floyd finished 2015 with 52 receptions for 849 yards and 6 touchdowns. He made the most of his looks, though. Among wideouts to see at least 80 targets, Floyd ranked sixth in Reception NEP per target.

After ranking first in Adjusted Offensive Passing NEP per play in 2015, Arizona returns Carson Palmer and the same three-headed monster -- Floyd, Fitzgerald and John Brown -- on the outside this season. The Cardinals’ offense should be a high-flying unit once again, and if Floyd can stay healthy, he could be looking at a big year.
