While we don’t yet know exactly when Andrew Luck was first injured this season, we know he struggled mightily when on the field and was impacted by injuries. He finished 20th in Passing NEP per play after making seven 2015 starts. Matt Hasselbeck admirably stepped in and won each of his first four starts, but the 40-year-old clearly wore down as the season continued.

While the quarterback play was not considered a strength this year, Colts fans should take solace in the fact that T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief both finished in the top 20 in Reception NEP per target among wide receivers with 80-plus targets. This bodes well for a rebound in 2016.

Meanwhile, Andre Johnson and Phillip Dorsett struggled through old age and injury, respectively, and aren’t likely to be starters for the Colts next season. And you might be tempted to call the Frank Gore signing a success because he stayed on the field and carried the ball 260 times, but he was dead last in Rushing NEP per play among 200-carry rushers.
