As we learned the hard way last week, Buck Allen’s active role in the Ravens passing game did not necessarily guarantee him a high floor in a situation where the Ravens were likely to be routed at home against a strong defense.

Nevertheless, we get a redo as Allen and the Ravens are in a similar spot again this week as home underdogs to a streaking Chiefs team.

Allen hasn’t been great this season, as he is currently 30th in Rushing NEP among the 40 running backs with at least 100 carries and 18th in Reception NEP per target among the 40 running backs with at least 30 targets.

A big reason why the Chiefs are riding a seven-game winning streak is the fact the defense is balling out. Top-five in both pass and run defense over their last four games, this unit should be avoided when possible, and Allen does not look to be the exception.

Our 21st-ranked running back, Allen is projected for 45.58 rushing yards and 0.29 rushing touchdowns.
