Quarterback: Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson, QB, Seattle Seahawks
21 for 27, 274 Yards, 3 Touchdowns
9 Rushes, 51 Yards, 1 Touchdown
NEP: +29.71

A week after throwing for five touchdowns, Seattle's Russell Wilson followed that up by having another ridiculously efficient game scoring four total touchdowns in Seattle's 38-7 win. Wilson had ranked as a top-two quarterback in numberFire's Total NEP the past two weeks, and was finally able to lay claim to the title in Week 13.

Completing 21 of his 27 attempts, Wilson threw for 274 yards and 3 touchdowns against a Vikings secondary void of healthy safeties. Injuries piled up during the game for Minnesota, eventually forcing 37-year-old Terence Newman to shift from his cornerback position back to safety out of necessity. It didn't seem to make much of a difference who was back there, as Wilson was able to complete 77.8% of his passes. Wilson also found room on the ground, rushing 9 times for 51 yards and a nice 8-yard touchdown on 3rd-and-Goal from the 7-yard line.

Wilson's +29.71 ranks as the third-highest of the season as he continuously moved the ball with masterful efficiency. He's now raised his Passing NEP to the sixth best quarterback on the season, and elevated his Total NEP to fourth best. He finished the day accruing 34.1 fantasy points for the week -- third best among all quarterbacks.

Paving the way for the rest of this week's top passers was Marcus Mariota, who had another one of his big games against Jacksonville. Mariota scored four touchdowns for his team this week, as he continues to have a boom-or-bust season with 15 of his 21 touchdowns coming in just four games. Ben Roethlisberger torched the Indianapolis defense, throwing for 364 passing yards and 4 touchdowns. Both Andy Dalton and Carson Palmer rolled in their matchups, throwing for a pair of touchdowns in big blowouts, while the Giants forced Ryan Fitzpatrick into overtime, resulting in a season-high 36 completions for 390 passing yards.
