Aaron Rodgers

FanDuel Salary: $9,200

I know that the Green Bay Packers have struggled to get their offense into high gear in recent weeks, but if this doesn't have the feel of a get-right game, I don’t know what does. Thus, Aaron Rodgers should shoot to the top of your consideration at quarterback if you're playing the Thursday slate on FanDuel.

Rodgers has been an absolute monster against the Bears in his career. In eight regular season games since 2011, excluding one in 2013 when he got hurt early in the game, Rodgers has thrown for at least three touchdowns to go with zero interceptions on five occasions, twice throwing for five or more touchdowns. And between 2011 and 2013, those Bears teams had top 12 pass defenses each season per our numbers, so it's not like Rodgers was simply preying on the weak.

But preying on the weak is exactly the opportunity Rodgers will get on Turkey Day at Lambeau Field, as he gets to square up not against the Bears secondary of yore, but the 26th-ranked pass defense in the NFL. Add that to the fact that Rodgers has naturally been a better quarterback in home games this season, throwing for 3 more touchdowns, 340 more yards, and a higher completion rate (63.3% at home versus 59.8% on the road) in the same number of games.

Moreover, the (hopeful) emergence of Eddie Lacy last week, who cracked 100 yards rushing for the first time this season, could finally cause defenses to believe the Packers' offense is capable of posing a multidimensional threat. Thus, if Lacy's work last week was a harbinger of things to come, the difficulty of the load Rodgers carries should get a bit easier. But even if it doesn't, the matchup at home against a weak pass defense and a division rival should make Rodgers a great play.
