Ronnie Hillman ($6,200)

Ronnie Hillman is a boom-or-bust type play this week. With Peyton Manning out, Brock Osweiler will be at the helm for the Broncos. Manning has looked awful this year, but Vegas oddsmakers seem to expect the Broncos' offense to be even worse under Osweiler. They are 1.5-point underdogs to the Chicago Bears and have an implied team total of only 19.75.

Hillman has appeared to take over the lead role in the Broncos' backfield. He has lead the team in carries in three of the last four games and was tied for the lead in the other. He also has 8 of the team's 12 red zone carries in that span.

Hillman has shown serviceable efficiency this year, which is in stark contrast to C.J. Anderson's disaster of a season. Hillman ranks 19th among the 50 backs with at least 50 carries on the season with a 0.00 Rushing NEP per carry, while Anderson ranks 47th of the group with a -0.23.

While the Broncos aren't favored in this one, they still draw one of the best possible matchups for their running game. The Bears run defense ranks 31st in the league, posting a schedule-adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP of 0.08 per play.

He doesn't have much of a floor, the Broncos aren't projected to score much and may be playing from behind, but he's an efficient back against a poor run defense and a solid value play.
