C.J. Anderson, RB, Denver Broncos

C.J. Anderson is slowly making his way back on to people's fantasy radar. After disappointing his owners through his first six games this season, Anderson has emerged from Denver's bye week with two good games in a row.

While Week 8's win over the Green Bay Packers gained Anderson plenty of attention as he scored his first touchdown of the season, last week's performance should provide further hope to Anderson owners.

After Ronnie Hillman was announced as the starter prior to Week 8, he went on to receive 57% of Denver's backfield snaps compared to Anderson's 40%. With Hillman in and out of the lineup last week with injuries, Anderson reclaimed the snap count lead, taking 52% of the snaps compared to Hillman's 46%. Even more intriguing was Anderson's Rushing NEP of 0.36, which easily bested Hillman's -3.96. This marked the second week in a row with a positive Rushing NEP for Anderson.

As Denver proved earlier this season, the way to attack the Kansas City Chiefs is through the air, which should bode well for Anderson. The preferred back in pass protection, Anderson should be on the field plenty this week. With Denver's offense finally showing some life, Anderson should be in consideration for a flex spot or RB2 on running back needy teams this week.
