Wide Receiver: DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Houston Texans
11 Receptions, 169 Yards, 14 Targets
NEP: +13.97

In an offense where Bill O'Brien continues playing hot potato with his two quarterbacks, DeAndre Hopkins keeps producing for both of them, as he leads the league in receiving yards (578) and targets (75).

Hopkins led all wide receivers in NEP for the second week in a row. His +13.97 this week has elevated his total Reception NEP on the year to the top of the list, as he now leads all wide receivers in Reception NEP.

Picking up 169 yards on 11 receptions off 14 targets, Hopkins was once again able to shed coverage with ease while the Colts defense had no answer for him. Making big plays all over the field, Hopkins was able to thrive in every level of the defense while subsequently picking up nice yardage after the catch. He led all receivers this week with 27.9 fantasy points and has outperformed his preseason draft expectations substantially.

Speaking of exceeding expectations, New Orleans' Willie Snead continues to impress, as he picked up 6 receptions for 141 yards this week. While most expected Brandon Coleman and Josh Hill to become big playmakers for the Saints' offense this year, it's been Snead who has shown up and now leads the team in receiving yards. Brandin Cooks also made the cut this week. It's now two weeks in a row for Allen Hurns among the top-five weekly performers, as he continues to play above expectations.
