Seattle Seahawks Rushing Offense

Yeah, this was kind of a bust last week. My bad, y'all. But, I promise, this week is more of a sure thing. The Seahawks are at home, the Chicago Bears are bad, and fantasy points are ready to flow.

So, here's the low-down. The Seahawks are favored by 16 in some places. Their implied total is 29.75 points. And they're at home. Everything with Vegas aligns for a big output from the Seattle rushing offense once the game script gets out of hand, and that's when Marshawn Lynch can really get the party started.

The Bears finished 2014 ranked 27th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play, and they haven't been any better this season. Through the first two weeks of the season, they sit all the way down in 30th spot. Now, this doesn't mean you should necessarily assume they are actually that bad, but it definitely means we shouldn't be avoiding them in what appears to be such an obviously supreme matchup.

Not shockingly, Lynch will not come cheap. He's $8,700 on FanDuel -- the third most expensive salary on the board at that position -- and $7,500 on DraftKings. That also means there are only three wide receivers more expensive than him on FanDuel, which is a hefty price to pay for a running back. This is why I find Lynch to be far more attractive in cash games, where I'm paying more for floor than upside.

As mentioned last week, Russell Wilson was also crazy efficient last year as a rusher -- the second most efficient rushing season since 2000 for a quarterback, based on Rushing NEP. Wilson is similar to Lynch in that he should have a crazy floor, be it through the air or on the ground. He is also expensive -- the fifth highest price for a quarterback on FanDuel and eighth most expensive on DraftKings -- but Wilson can justify that price, especially in cash.
