After getting stuffed by the 49ers defensive line in Week 1, Norv Turner dialed up a Week 2 game plan where Adrian Peterson wasn't taking his handoffs out of the shotgun on every play. He also decided that 10 total carries for AP was an absolutely inexcusable number. Lo and behold, the Peterson we all know was back in Week 2.

Despite fumbling twice (once recovered by the Lions), Peterson still ran amok, getting 29 carries and rushing for 134 yards in vintage form, while also collecting 58 yards via the air on two catches. And this week he faces the Chargers, who finished 15th in the league in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per rush in 2014. The Chargers were also just torched by Giovani Bernard, who rushed for over 120 yards on 20 carries in Week 2.

AP has yet to hit the endzone in 2015, with his closest run called back in Week 2. But with the Vikings offense clearly proving more effective moving through Peterson, and a reasonably tasty matchup on the slate, some positive touchdown regression could be coming his way. And I don't want to be one of the fools to miss out on that action.
