5 Late-Round Quarterbacks to Target in Fantasy Football Drafts

There are two things I look for in a late-round quarterback: season-long upside and an easy beginning-of-season schedule.

Sam Bradford has both.

Last year in Chip Kelly's offense, Eagles' quarterbacks combined for low-end QB1 production in fantasy football, compiling seven top-12 performances. And that was with a struggling Nick Foles and a guy coming off the bench in Mark Sanchez. Sanchez was especially effective, as his 0.15 Passing NEP per drop back average was 13th best in the NFL, and way better than he'd ever seen in his career.

He can thank the offense he played in last year for that.

Now there's Bradford -- a quarterback who's been better than Sanchez over his career in a not-so-great situation in St. Louis -- being planted under center for the Philadelphia offense.

Let's do this.

But there's great streaming potential with Bradford, too. To start the year, the Eagles get Atlanta (28th against the pass last year per our schedule-adjusted metrics), Dallas (24th), New York (Jets variety, 21st), Washington (32nd) and New Orleans (29th). While the Jets are obviously improved in the secondary, the other four matchups shouldn't be scaring fantasy owners away.
