Usually projecting the Patriot running back situation is fool's gold; one week, a guy could top 100 yards and a touchdown, while the next week getting zero touches and having to sell popcorn at halftime.

If you've got the stomach to take a ride on the Bill Belichick Ferris Wheel O' Rushing, Jonas Gray showed a lot of talent in shredding the porous Chicago defense. As long as Shane Vereen stays primarily as a receiver, Gray could have value, particularly if the Patriots decide to grind it out versus Denver as opposed to getting into a track meet.
