Oakland Really Is a Mess

Fire Dennis Allen.

That's the only action the Raiders can take at this point. In London this week, Oakland allowed our 30th-ranked offense to score 38 real, not-expected points. You know, the same offense that was threatening to bench their young starting quarterback after starting the season in horrible fashion. That offense.

The Raiders did things like this on Sunday. They haven't had a top-half ranked offense since the Rich Gannon days, and it doesn't look like that's changing anytime soon. That's especially true if Matt McGloin continues to see snaps, as he played nearly 20 points below expectation in terms of Total NEP on Sunday. And he didn't even play in the first half, people.

The Raiders are a bad team, and could very well finish as the worst one according to our metrics by season's end.
