You may recall, but Eddie Royal had a stretch last season where he scored five touchdowns in two games.

And then, nothing. And then some more nothing.

What I'm trying to say is that you shouldn't kid yourself - Eddie Royal isn't Keenan Allen. But what he can end up being is a very valuable WR2 in an offense that looks better than it has in years - and that's all without a running game to speak of. As Rivers goes, so goes Royal - but for now, he's a boss.
