Stevan Ridley, RB, New England Patriots

Over the last two seasons, no team has called more run plays inside the 5-yard line than the New England Patriots. The primary beneficiary of this has been Stevan Ridley, who ranks third in the league with 28 goal-line carries during this time, and who has scored on 50% of them, good for third among all backs with 20 or more goal-line touches.

The departure of LeGarette Blount (who accounted for 17% of the Patriots' goal-line touches last season), and the poor work done by Shane Vereen on the goal line (he received 12.5% of the touches but failed to score and totaled zero yards on them) means Ridley is yet again the go-to back on the goal line for New England, a role in which he excels and will see a lot of work.
