It’s not really a shocker to see who sits at our number one spot for the upcoming season. Calvin Johnson has been the epitome of an elite fantasy wide receiver for the past three years. In fact, his past three seasons have been historical, putting up Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) totals of 143.56, 162.56 and 142.07, good for 9th, 2nd and 12th, respectively, since 2000.

Johnson is one of the safest bets in all of fantasy football, consistently putting up huge numbers for the Lions. And he's only missed two games over the past four seasons. Take Johnson in the first round with comfort, knowing you have the first piece to a solid foundation.
